Payment Options

  • Payment in full is expected at the end of a consultation or on collection of a patient after hospitalisation or surgery.  We are unable to offer accounts or credit.
  • We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) and cash.  We do not routinely accept cheques.
  • We offer VetPay which is a loan you can take out for the cost of the vet bill.  VetPay allows you to pay your bill through fortnightly repayments over a 6 or 12 month term.  VetPay requires a deposit of 10% for bills under $1000 and 20% for bills over $1000.  Standard interest rates apply.  To apply go online to www.vetpay.com.au .
  • At Raceview Veterinary Surgery we strongly encourage all owners to take out pet insurance.  Part of being a responsible pet owner is caring of your pet when it is sick or injured – this includes financially. You cannot predict what is going to happen to your pet in the future. Car accidents, fractures and paralysis ticks are an all too common occurrence. The sad reality is vet bills are expensive and are often unexpected.  This is where pet insurance comes in – if you take out pet insurance you have the peace of mind of knowing that the quality of care your pet receives isn’t limited by finances.  There are a number of different pet insurance policies so it is worthwhile looking around and finding one which suits you.  Please find links for several different pet insurance policies below…
